In the 20's, the koalas were almost hunted to extinction. Many were sure that they too, would be joining the Spirits of their Extinct Brethren. However, they were saved, and through the close call, they were given the abilities to heal, receive and interpret omens, and, most importantly, communicate with the spirits. The shamen were born.
Now, many years later, their is a great war, kangaroos pitted against dingoes, a bloody battle that is never ceasing. The koalas must use everything that they have learned to end the war. However, so far it is proving to be a lost cause, as the negotiations seem to be helping nothing.
Kangaroos are mysteriously disappearing. When they return, they have no recollection of what happened. When asked where they were, their answer is always the same. "I was right here." At first, many kangaroos suspected the dingoes, but now, they can't be sure of anything anymore.
The dingo packs are having problems as well. The bronze pack is allowing dogs into their packs, creating half-blood dingoes. The other dingo pack, the flame pack, is sickened by this behavior, and determined to rid the packs of the dogs.
Finally, the head Shaman, Kohahra, has been killed, his woven grass hat in shreds beside him. The koalas are considered untouchable, and someone is breaking the oldest, and most sacred law.
That's basically it, if you have any questions, post tem, cuz I know that was confusing.
